The classification result submitted to IEEE GRSS Data Fusion Contest 2013 (Authors: Janja Avbelj [1,2], Jakub Bieniarz [1], Daniele Cerra [1], Aliaksei Makarau [1], Rupert Müller [1]) was ranked 3rd among over 50 submissions with overall accuracy of 93.20 (compared to 94.43 and 93.32 for rank 1 and 2). Two multi-sensor datasets were used; a hyperspectral image with 144 spectral channels and a LiDAR derived Digital Surface Model. The Data Fusion Technical Committee used ground truth, not disclosed to participants, for evaluating classification results.
